Communication?

Let's have a little reflection about what communication should be in our life! Shall we? Let's go!

In our modern society, personally, I think that someway we have let technology taken over our social life! Back in the old days, children used to play around in the yard, be it siblings or cousins! Despite being a young age, they used to meet almost everyday, especially during holidays! We all had our play time, didn’t we? We used to invent all types of games, shared our toys and even had fights! I swear me and my sibling fought more than we played! The same was the case for me and my cousins! It was chaos at our place! But we all had something in common; communication. Unknowingly we all learnt that it was very important to have communication. As little children, we had no problems voicing out our problems, happiness and opinions! And those who grew up like so would have still had this habit. But what happened?

Technology happened! Many of us are now all slaves of technology! We spend so much of our time in our virtual world, behind our little screen that we make communication a very difficult task for us! Now, I know many of you will say that is not the case with you and I get it! But for many of us, chatting is so easy but when you meet the person for real, you just go mum. Nothing to talk about all of a sudden! No more words! No more jokes! Ever been in such a situation? Who should be blamed for that? Perhaps if we spent all of our time without technology we would be able to make new friends the traditional ways, just go and say hi and talk! But again, it’s probably different for each and every one of us!

Communication has taken up another aspect in our life today! It isn’t easy anymore! It just keeps on getting complicated! I feel that instead of talking to someone directly about our problems in order to avoid more problems, we go on taking more mingled up roads and at the end further aggravate the problems! We talk to others about the problem, then we talk to others again and this circle goes on until it becomes a big mess! Do you feel the same? (answer me in the comments and tell me about it)

And I am not even talking about asking someone for advice. That is different! I personally believe that we should all take a step and have the courage and guts to tell the person concerned about the problems we have with them and the person in turn should also sit down and talk about it. Instead of trying to make your point, find the points in common and TALK about it. Yes, talk about it! I emphasized a lot about this because I think that more and more people are nowadays taken up in proving that they are right instead of solving the problem!!

Here is my take on ‘communication!’ what is yours??πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰
